Dozens, but from what I hear the US has more conventions than the UK so it's not really all that hard to do here.

Highlights:

-Hanging with a drunk Ron Glass at Dragoncon 2010

-Riding an elevator with Adam Baldwin at Wizard World Philly 2011 and being the only one to notice until after everyone got off. (and having all my friends get mad at me for not point it out sooner)

-Surprising Norman Reedus and Sean Patrick Flanery while wearing my Spaceballs costume at Wizard World Philly 2011

-Meeting Max Brooks (Mel's son) also while wearing a Spaceball costume at Wizard World Philly 2010

-Met most of the cast of Farscape at various conventions

-Pushed Kenny Baker(R2D2) in a wheel chair through the streets of Philadelphia going to a bar in 2008

-Drinking with Jeremy Bolloch (Boba Fett), David Prowse (Darth Vader), and Peter Mayhew (Chewie) after a con in 2006.

Ashton Kutcher grew up 10 miles away from me.

He's a prick.

I grew up way more than 10 miles away from him, and I still know he's a prick.

I shook Conan O' Brian's Hand When I went to see a taping of his Late Nite Show in 2003. I also Have a autograph From Tyson Ritter of the All-American Rejects. I got that When I won concert tickets to a Celtics game and they played during it. I am kinda related by marriage to Mario Andretti.

No, that's my friend Shane. We both worked the convention.
I never got the chance to get an autograph.

I met Dan Aykroyd at Total Wine in Deleware. He signed a ghostbusters beer coaster for me.

Oh and Bam Marjera hit on my wife in West Chester years ago. She was admiring his car. He walked up behind her an asked if she wanted to see it from the back seat.

Dan Aykroyd
Ernie Hudson
William Atherton--Probably the coolest/nicest guy ever (which is shocking since he plays such a jerk). He spent the convention striking up conversations with people and would quote the movie to make us all geek out.
Robin Shelby
Slavitza Jovan
(All of whom signed my pack) :D

Peter Tork and Micky Dolenz from the Monkees
Anthony MIchael Hall
Brian O'Halloran
Don Stark (That 70's show)
Henry Winkler
Butch Patrick
Adam West (I was in GB gear so he assumed I worked for the convention and actually talked to me for a while).
(I walked passed The Boondock Saints a few times at a con but the lines were too long to actually go up and meet them.)
Pablo Francisco (comedian)
Harvey Fierstein

And hopefully I'll be able to add Stan Lee to the list after tomorrow

Michel Dorn a nice guy to talk to.

Gates McFadden a sweet heart to meat and talk to.

George Dakie had small tall

The beast master, can't recall his name joked around with him at a Con.

The soul Nazi, can't recall his name but a nice guy to meet and talk with.

Lou Fergino, if your not intrested in his autograph he will not give you the time of day.

Sean Pen seem okay didnt talk much with him.

Most of the cast from jack ass and viva la Bam. Party with them when I had a lay over in PA. Spent must of my time there with Bam's mother and father.

Let me think...

at Dragon*Con last year I met Chistopher Lloyd and Felicia Day. Though Felicia Day was kind of a funny story as I met her not only once at her booth but also in the mall next door at night. We were playing with a remote Dalek in the place (it was 11pm at night and no one was around) and she came over and wanted to play with it. That was a ton of fun.

I've also met the Late Peter Fernandez (who was the original voice of Speed Racer) and also David Letterman.

That is about all I can think of at the moment.
