Hello all!
My name is Rob, but I'm known as Paradox. I live in Staten Island, work in NYC. If I had money to burn I'd by a small fire house located on N.Moore St.
Look forward to being involved and being part of the community.

Hook and ladder 8. 14 N. Moore St. (between Broadway and Hudson)
It was used for all exterior shots in both movies, however for the interior shots they used a similar house in CA.

So is it in the same area in both the ''Real and Extreme'' cartoons?

It's the exact firehouse used in both ghostbuster movies.
Extreme and Real ghostbusters were cartoons, making their HQ intangible.

I live in staten island NY, a borough of NYC, I work in midtown manhattan. So I'm extremely familiar with firehouse in TriBeCa and the Library on 42nd and 5th.
My bus stop is infront of that Library. My uncle was battalion chief for the FDNY... I've been inside the "ghostbuster" firehouse.

Don't knock on the front doors though, knock on the door to the side, and buy shirt at the firehouse, it supports these guys and it looks great. They have the sign from GB2 hanging on the inside of the firehouse and its pretty awesome. They get pestered a lot by ghost heads so they are used to it by now, but keep in mind its still an active firehouse

If any1 wants I'll pick A few up next week. Every fire house in NYC uses different logos. My uncles house uses Snoopy. They use a ghost, which is pretty fittin. Let's never forget, this is an active firehouse in downtown Manhattan. They were first on call 9/11, and like many firehouses they...lost a lot of good guys. Yes, and if you go to the Brooklyn Tunnel Ventilator Building and ask nicely they'll let you hang out with the Men In Black.
Because movies are real.
