A guy on an auction site says:
"More accurate than the plans that are available to everyone! Some of the features built into the shell that are NOT on any plans are:

Additional cosmetic plating
Powercell curve
EDA disc 'nipples'
Powercell top fin detailing
Gearbox/Gunmount curve
EDA edge bevel & more!"

So is THIS, THE one??

I'm pretty sure "Accuratest" isn't a word.

That's my shell.

This is just my way of defining that the two phrases "built to Stefan's plans" and "100% screen accurate" can not possibly be true.

Since a lot of discoveries have been made since Stefan made his plans it would be impossible to call them 100% screen accurate, which I see happen all the time (and it really bugs me)

Basically, I used some of Stefan's measurements, some of V71's, along with my own knowledge and alterations gained through scouring the boards and reference photos and came up with the best shell I could.

Is it perfect? No. But it's a damn sight better than some I've seem that claim to be.

:)

I bought one of Lawrence's shells and I'm very happy with it

Lawrence is a fine builder. I have his Cyclotron on my pack and a pair of his Ecto Goggles. I highly recommend his work.

I notice you do not have a curve on the EDA for the PPD. Is that intentional??
Most packs I've seen have this curve...

Thanks guys :)

Well I know pipe sizes slightly differ from manufacturer to manufacturer (sometimes by a few millimetres!) and they are still classed as the same size fitting, I thought it would be much easier to add a small piece of styrene or bondo and create the same effect once you have your PPD ready to go. That would be much easier than having to gouge out parts of the shell to make your PPD fit. (that's how I've done it on all of my scratch builds up to now)

It's also just something that I didn't add because I didn't think it needed to be added, the effect of it being there can be achieved very easily but even then it's completely covered up by the PPD once installed.
