Is Mattel going to unveil a new Ghostbusters prop at San Diego Comic Con this year? What could it be?

Is that image made by you just to help tease that they might release something?

Bad news people. ToyArk has pictures of the Ghostbusters section of the Mattel booth at SDCC.

There is nothing except a Dana figure and the Stay Puft diorama.

http://www.toyark.com/news/san-diego-co ... play-6100/

Perhaps we will have to wait until Thursday / Friday before we hear anything at all.

Official announcements / unveils will occur on Friday during the Matty Panel.

The props are usually on display ahead of time during previews night (right now).

They have always had their props on display during preview night.

The figures are usually held until Friday, but that does not always happen either.

I'm hoping for ecto goggles, I'm sick of being the guy with the wielding goggles & poorly painted plumming parts on my head.

I can see them releasing either the Ecto goggles, the Giga-Meter, the Animated series PKE meter, or the Animated series Ghost Trap. I honestly cannot see them releasing a Proton pack, either the movie version or the animated version. The pack is just too large, and it would cost way too much. The smaller equipment would make more sense.

Im inclined to agree. . Really pulling for a gigameter . . . As I have a great set of accurate goggles already. . Never thought about the real ghostbusters stuff . . But I hated the fact that the equipment was blue as a kid. . So I cant say if Id buy it. .

A Giga Meter or Animated Series PKE would make my year.

As long as it isn't something lame like a Battle-damaged PKE meter. "With MORE silver paint! Order now and get the bonus Caution Striping FREE!"

There won't be a new prop. I'm almost certain. The empty space in the display was from last years trap release. The big thing for Matty is the hover board. Stop getting ur hopes up fans. Seems Friday may be a big let down for us all
