Did anyone pre order a coping of the game yet? When you do does it arrive on the release day? I work for walmart, so i'm hoping I can get a copy saved, I should be able to along with the posters for the game. :grin:

I pre-ordered mine months ago at Game Stop (got the idea from here, of course) I think it's October 8th, but you never know.

I pre-ordered mine from EB games website w / the free overnight shipping deal so i should have mine on release day.

It's released October 14th, however some Gamestop/EBGame/Babbages/Software Etc. stores don't get the game until the next day. If the game has a LOT of reserves it's usually released on release day; IE - Super Smash Bros Brawl is going on the shelves March 9th; it's intended release date.

Ya, every game I got this year was available the day after the release date.

Guys keep in mind that the date on EBgames/Gamestop website is not always the actual release date but the ship date.

Well it's probably going to happen. Shipping games does take time. It's not like once a game is released it magically appears in the stores. That's why when I have to tell someone a release date I tell them the date after, cause that's when we'll have it. Sometimes depending on the days the shipment comes it could be up to 4 days after the release date when the store will receive it.

Well some places get the shipment in early, but of course don't sell them until the game is officially released.

i worked at game stop for a while and most will let you buy the game at midnight if it's got enough preorders . I just preordered 2 copies, one for the 360 and one for the Wii.

I also reserved my copy at ebgames and the guy said they would arrive in stores on the 15th but ship the 14th. It was funny cuz when i said i wanted to reserve GB for my ps3 he got all excited almost giddy-like and said he would remember everyone who reserved a copy...kinda creepy huh..but hey its nice meeting another GB fanatic :cool:
