Since I literally live 1.5 miles from the convention, I will be going. I dare say most, if not all of the Indy GB's are going as well.

Definitely going to be there this time. In years past there was a financial question--this year I've managed to save up a bit of money.

You know, I've lived in Indy for 6 years now and I've never seen you. Are you a myth? :D

Lol...

I guess we're just never in the same place at the same time. And even if we were, not being a prop guy I blended in with all the other nerds. I'll be the nerd in the wheel chair probably wearing a button with the GB2 logo on it (I got it at one of the local comic shows like twenty years ago. Had a matching one with the GB1 logo, but it disappeared at some point)

Last time I talked with Vincent Belmont (it's been a little while, though) he was still planning to go. Unfortunately, Kevin Kemarly probably won't make it--that Keymaster Louis costume he did last year was a big hit.

as long as money is good for me I will be going, but I won't bein gear, as I just started into this prop world....I do have some props and part of the uniform started/bought, but I will not have the time, or anything to work on a Pack or most of the whole outfit, would love to, but eh, you know, job hunting comes first.

Alas fritz is probably right, but not guaranteed. It depends on a great many things.

If I do, I'll be Cpt. Kemarly, DMD.

Just bumping this to remind everyone: the pre-registration period will end Saturday, June 30. If you don't have your badge ordered by then, you'll have to do it at the door and pay more.

Ogre (my brother) and I are definitely go for Thursday; there's a friend of ours and his wife going that day and we'll all go together. Since I bought a 4-day badge, I'm going to try and make it at least one more day (probably Saturday) to get my money's worth. (Since the 4-day costs just slightly less than 2 one day badges  )

Hey!

I'll be at GenCon all 4 days and it would be great to meetup if only for a moment or two to swap stories of gear and check your guys stuff out!

If your interested send me a PM and we can exchange cell numbers to make it easier to find each other.

I won't be in gear this year as my stuff will not be done enough for a con yet. But next year I think I'll be gearing up for at least part of one of the days!

See you at the con!

Wayne

Yeah. Belmont and I were coming back to the Convention Center after lunch, and we noticed "That sounds like an ECTO-1 siren" and, sure enough...

I was there Thursday and Saturday. I was either in a wheelchair or pushing it (sometimes rolling through the carpet gets my arms so tired I had to get up and walk a little). Of course, if I'd had a flight suit I'd be a lot easier to pick out.

I don't know if you were in uniform; I only saw one person on Thursday, and I didn't get to talk to them. I saw what I guess were the Louisville gang yesterday, but again, didn't get to talk to them. I kept seeing them when they were far enough away I didn't feel like yelling.

Well deserved. It looked awesome. I tried to take a picture on my cheapo camera, but it didn't turn out very well.

Who was driving it on Saturday? The driver seemed a bit uptight.

Sad part is, if you did yell, we might not have heard you. All the motorcycles made it hard to hear between us. Perhaps we will see you in 3 weeks.

Unsure..Normally I am the only driver, but i did have the car Valet parked, and the Hotel employee drove us to the convention center, and made a return trip to bring my wallet to me... What do you mean UpTight?

A bunch of us waved to the driver on Saturday in GB gear and the driver kinda stared at us like a dog being show a card trick then proceeded to look dead ahead as if we didn't exist. I'm sure he was tired or as you mentioned, a valet driver.

All in all, the Louisville guys we met at the convention were really cool cats.

I was there as well "Scott" on name patch . Im not sure if it was me or not...i generally will hit the horn, Yelp or siren when ppl yell at me while driving. I love the attention Ecto brings, so i always try to return the favors...so if you were ignored, i dont think it was me... It was my first con, had a blast, but was Exhausted tho at 3am when we had to wind down to drive home. Which GB were you?

The bearded one. I wasn't in costume that day, but the two other guys were. The car was in the far left lane so I took a quick pic of my buddy standing next to it before the car drove off. As I said, whoever was driving was probably tired so I don't feel bad. Hope you all had fun. It would be nice to see you guys here next year.

He who owns the Ecto decides when it's time to go home from the con...

Here Greg is suited up. I'm sure it was awkward when the little dude walked up and announced he was a GB also...
