Ok so some of you met me and my wife at AdventureCon in TN and got great feedback about my slime blower. So what we are doing is organizing our templates on CAD in pdf files that way they can be posted or sent to whoever wants them by us so you can just print and trace instead of having to measure your own stuff. It will also include the gun cone template and instructions. If you are interested you can pm me and let me know. And if you have any other questions about the blower we can also put together a tutorial and list of items as i was planning. I wasnt able to before because of the rush to get to Adventurecon. We are also tweeking some things since i had an accident and i want to make certain parts more sturdy. Just give me a little time so we can put it all together but pm me anyway for interest in it.
Thanks Alot Scott

That is an awesome slime blower you've got there!! Thanks for all the progress pics, too. I'm making the slime blower my next project! Besides, I need something new for the upcoming Dallas Comic Con in October.

Thanks alot. We just got back and have some repairs to make. I have to warn everyone though about the expanding foam, the heat loves to mess with it. We have to replace the ball because it is really warped and the bottom of my main tank is starting to dent inwards. We have an idea that might take care of it and we will post that information later. But feel free to ask me any other questions.

Thanks for the heads up about the foam! I live in Houston where it's hot and humid most of the year too.

New update, we had some issues with the end domes warping inward. we ended up poking some holes and using an air duster to fill it back out and then re foam the ends, worked good so far and we are just going to respackle and paint. Our next tank will be a little different.
As far as an update on plans, we are still busy these next couple weeks so we wont have them out just yet. We are going to take our time to organize and add some instructions. We are planning on building another pack and I was wanting to do video tutorials of the construction. So if anyone thinks thats a good idea let me know. Now if you need just the templates we can have those out quicker, just pm me. Or if you have any specific questions let me know.

if you guys are having trouble with the expanding foam due to the heat, why not use styrofoam shperes as the internal support then the expanding foam?
I was in Hobby Lobby today and they have styrofoam shperes of all shapes and sizes. You could cut them in half for the support of the domes and use them. Maybe that would be better then the expanding foam?

Thats actually what we were thinking of using, just didnt want to say anything until we tried it out first, we might use a layer of some type of epoxy on the dome first to harden it. With the styrofoam it shouldnt shrink. Its funny that it only shrunk on the main tank and not on the smaller ones.

Turned out awesome! It seems like looking back through all the topics/plans, there was always debates on how tall/big the main tank was, what size the little tanks were, if they were different thicknesses or the same. Slimer7's do look to be the ones to go with. Are the Halex liquid tight connectors what he used as well? It seemed like in some of the discussions, questions directed to him were overlooked I think. Plus I remember he doesn't come by quite as often these days I've started to get some of the stuff together now. We'll see. As far as the split loom, are there a few sizes you used? The ones coming from the headlights and then the one from the maroon ball. Awesome again! It seemed like it came together really fast or is it just me?

I used the liquid tight connectors for everything, the real ones are actually large hydraulic connectors which i am now hunting for. I did miss one connector that i think everyone misses and it is attached to the left intake box, not any of the gold boxes, i saw it on my huge gb2 poster, great reference guide. the liquid tight connectors are a good alternative though. Now for the split loom, i used 1/4 inch for the lights and like 1/2 inch for the ball. My next blower will have a smaller size diameter loom for the ball i think. Im doing a lot of research now before building my next one. I also took closer looks at some of the screen grabs and it looks like the two rear boxes on the green tanks are a light gray and the bottom blower support is also a light gray. But if anyone can help me out also with colors that would be great.
We are also looking into have foil and or vinyl stickers made. I think the tank sizes came out pretty dead on though, not too big or small. Its still a work in progress but i think the first turned out pretty good

Oh yeah! Definetly turned out great. Was the left handle(the U bracket type thing with the white PVC) something you found? The metal bracket part of it that is. Thanks again for the wealth of info on this thing

The metal bracket was a small piece of galvanized aluminum or something at home depot, kind of just stumbled upon it. It was a flat piece and we had to have the corners grinded down, the metal was .75 cents. Kind of hard to work with also, so if you can find an alternative i recommend it.

Very nice indeed. I am glad to see someone is putting my plans to good use. BTW, I still have the bucks for the slime gun ends if anyone is looking to vacuform a few for themselves. Designed to fit 4"OD aluminum tubing I also have a roll of the black and yellow hazard tape I used on my slime blowers all up for sale.

You said you hoped to find a 5 inch ball for the maroon ball, what is it there? 6 or between 5 & 6? I was looking at balls and for some reason 5 looked a little small to me and 6 about right. I dunno though. I may need to look at some more pics I know Slimer7's plans say 5 and the old sketches he did say 6. Maybe looking at it compared to everything else it will be too big though. Edit: well the more I look, it must be 5.

I used 6inch accrylic domes, but what im going to use next is a 5inch plastic hamster ball and bondo the holes. 6 inch is a good size to use, I dont think there is a concrete size to go with though, I just had the problems with the accrylic domes because of the expanding foam.

How long is the tube for the gun? I'm not sure if it was in Slimer7's measurements. Not that I recall. Also is there a particular ball valve you found to use for the handle or did it seem like that important of difference? Thanks again! I'm gathering right now like a squirrel for winter.

I got the vavle from my father in law's shop, wasn't a particular kind. If you have a hard time finding them I could always try and pick one up for you. As for the length of hose, I was trying to do 2 feet for the hose coming out of the back of the gun and 3 feet for the bottom that goes to the left side of the pack. Im hunting down more heat sink, Skycraft was out of it when i checked last week. If i find more ill let you know but if you find any let me know because I am planning on building a couple more blowers in the near future.

cool! Ah I meant how long is the gun itself. I should have worded that a little better. Yeah I had seen a bunch of those valves, will probably just close my eyes and grab one.

The gun is 20 inches for the pvc, then the cap on top of it and the cone which we have the template for. You can get the 20 inch aluminum flashing to wrap around and its perfect.

Scott, you said the headlights were about $8 each, they looked to be $13.99 when I looked. There is something on there about a promotion code for a discount or something, was it something regarding that? I'm sure I will end up getting them no matter what though
