Today was by far the busiest day of PKE Surge 2009 at DragonCon. We started off the morning with an Epic Ghostbusters Parade that had nearly 50 Ghostbusters suited up. Thankfully the guys from Georgia brought up their Dodge Magnum Ecto-1 at the last minute to fill in for the Ecto-2k, and it completely made the parade a success. The crowds were going wild for the Ghostbusters as we were considered the "crowd favorites" by several media outlets. There were tens of thousands of people in the crowd and every single one of them had a camera and was snapping shots of us. Look for us on Flickr and Facebook and post links to the pictures in this thread.

After the parade we hung out at the Ghostbusters Fans, and GBTV tables and had a load of fun. We were doing interviews for segments on GBTV and Billy Mays himself appeared to sell some Ghostbusters Fans Wristbands and sign autographs.

We capped off the night with PKE Surge's Night on the Town at a local Atlanta restaurant and met some colorful characters. Everyone had a great time as we announced the winners of the Crunch Awards, and selectedwinners in the raffle for Ghostbusters Parts, Shirts and Supporting Memberships.

I will leave you with a video I shot from the parade. It is a little shakey and a little low quality. If you find videos / pictures from the parade on YouTube, please post them in this thread.

AWESOME. I can't tell you guys how great it was. I will attempt to later. Great to meet all of you, I literally got out of a car earlier from Atlanta so I'll post my thoughts later on this great event!!!!

Big thanks/congratulations to everyone involved and everyones great hospitality. AJ, Tim, Dan, Austin, Austin's dad, the GBTV crew etc. and everyone else. Had a blast...

they had their picture taken with a lot of the guys I believe? My gf met and got a picture with them, we were at their panel too. Someone asked how one of them got into the gig and they said at one point they didn't even know people really went to investigate paranormal happenings and one of the other ones said "Have you never seen Ghostbusters?" it was really funny! :lol:

You know the parade was actually just for us, they had to throw everyone else in just to fill in some space. All I can say is WE ARE HOT!! Im now using my Stay Puft bank for Dracon Con funds for next year.

To all my new fans, Thank You Thank You, I will be giving GB discounts for autographed pictures. But seriously, this was an amazing event and Congrats to all the winners. We will get our pics up of the awards later. We came last minute and it was well worth it. You guys worked really hard to put this together and it came out great. Im sure next year will be even better. I do want to add a special thanks to Borzou for not blowing us up!

gbcreel and I just made it back alive! and had a blast! I have a few pictures i will be uploading after i get some sleep!

It was really great meeting everyone! and the meet up was interesting and entertaining!
DONT MESS WITH GEORGIA FOOTBALL! lol Wtf...

And I missed the TAPS guys coming to the table!?!?! when was that! LOL!

I got a picture with Jason and Grant at there table Sunday and went to a little bit of there panel Saturday.
I was quite happy they were quite impressed with my scully!

Billy Mays is dead, he died back in June. Was it filmed before he died? I don't know who you saw but it wasn't Billy Mays.
