Time Life just sent us a copy of the Real Ghostbusters DVD Trailer that was shown at Comic Con a week and a half ago. It is very short, and mainly just shows the Intro, but it also has a quick clip of J. Michael Straczynski that will be apart of the 12 Hours of special features. That's pretty cool! I definitely want to get my hands on this DVD set! I just noticed that they offer an option where you can pay in four installments. That is pretty cool! That would certainly help to break up the price. Does anybody know, though, if there is any kind of layaway type dealie? Kind of like when you pre-order a game, you can pay little by little if you want until the game is released? Or is the four installment thing pretty much it? We won't be able to get these from anywhere other than Time Life, right? No Best Buy, Amazon, etc?
Who created that shrugging "No Ghost" logo? It was featured in the information bar when J. Michael Straczynski appeared on screen.
I was under the impression that that was a fan made logo, not official artwork... its currently being used in the story header on the main page of this site for the "ACTIVSION: Ghostbusters Game not Cancelled" article.
The footage looks very crisp compaired to the Revenge of the Night DVD I own.

Yea that Revenge of the Night DVD has a couple flaws...Im so excited about this set...I already ordered it and I'm still reading the specs on it over and over

sounds like the Time Life website is the only place to get it - though Ive seen this happen before, and then months later they end up in retail shops (like best buy) for a slightly lower cost...

After their contract runs out they could start to sell it in stores.. but I wouldn't expect that until mid-late-2009 if that does happen.

I just placed the "4-payment" order...I hope that site is secure; I didn't see any lock on my page. Oh well...I'll have to check my credit statement when it arrives in the mail. The release date now Says NOVEMBER.

Just ordered mine. Crap shipping was $18! I guess for 25 dvds that's the going rate. Just caught me off gaurd. Can't wait until they get here... Although, I wish they were being released sooner, it would be nice to watch them through out October leading up to Halloween. Glad they are finally available though!

Yeah, I got the 25% off thing too. Unless they come out with some other Ghostbusters merchandise, I probably won't use it... Then again, maybe I should take a look at their site, they may have something I shouldn't spend my money on.
