Ghostbusters Fans was given a great oppurtunity today from Time-Life to preview the Real Ghostbusters DVD Boxset. While just a short look at the set, we were given an chance to witness the new visual commentary along with episode introductions and a featurette about the creatures from the cartoon. They are allowing us to show you the new trailer for the DVD (seen above) as well as several clips from the DVD (seen here).

This is going to be one amazing collection that is sure to be the definitive Real Ghostbusters release.

Just a reminder for all of those still waiting to purchase the DVD Boxset... It comes out on November 15th and is $179.99 for all 147 episodes spanning 25 DVDs and has 13 hours of bonus features.

As seen a few days ago, this is a short interview with Laura Summer as she describes the fan base and how everyone loves the Real Ghostbusters.

This is a short clip from the Featurette "Something Strange in Your Neighborhood: The Creatures of The Real Ghostbusters" which features interviews from several key writers, illustrators, and character designers. In this clip J Michael Straczynski is talking about how scary the ghosts had to be in order to make a good episode.

Man im so upset about it not being in the UK.Its so hard to get it over here.But im sure in time it will be on Amazon.com.Or im sure someone on here will share it with us who have been :walterpeck: On.

The set probably won't ever be offered through Amazon.

However there have been some members of the community who have been willing to ship sets out of the States, and there's also this site once it gets them back in stock.
