OK, so this is kind of pathetic, but I wrote it just after graduating from high school in 2003. It seems that I had some of the same ideas that were incorporated into the game, so that\'s cool. Hope you enjoy!

\"Janine, where\'s business good today?\" asks Doctor Ray Stantz.
\"The old Vechte-Cortelyou House,\" Janine Melnitz answers as she types up a report on the last bust.
\"What\'s the old Vechte-Cortelyou House?\" Winston Zeddemore asks.
\"It\'s a replica of a Dutch stone farmhouse built by Claes Arentson Vechte, a Dutch immigrant. It was built beside Gowanus Creek in 1699, with a two-foot thick wall of fieldstone and brick and heavily shuttered windows for protection,\" states Doctor Egon Spengler.
Winston questions, \"Why would a Dutch immigrant need so much protection?\"
\"The family was very successful at harvesting oysters,\" Ray replies, \"and they made a heck of a profit selling them to merchants in Manhattan. Anyone that successful is bound to have enemies!\"
\"So now this old farmhouse has a family of ghosts battling off their enemies and we\'re going to save the day, eh?\"
Egon explains, \"Not exactly, Winston. You see, the families\' house was taken over in the Battle of Brooklyn during the War for Independence in August of 1776. The British army overtook the house and literally slaughtered any American soldiers that attempted to battle. The Americans had no chance of survival because to get to the house they had to cross the creek, and in their effort to cross the creek...\"
Ray butts in, \"They were ambushed! Egon.\"
\"Exactly, Ray. And now it looks as though the Americans are sending in their second wave!\"
\"I get it. We have to go stop a war that ended over two-hundred years ago!\" I exclaim.
In his \'scientist\' voice, \"Precisely,\" Egon replies.
Excitedly Ray blasts in, \"So what are we waiting for? Let\'s go catch some ghosts!\"
We all run to the Ecto-1B and flop into the enormous car. Ray flips the toggles. The siren is blasting, the lights are blinding, and the equipment is ready for action. Ray shifts into gear and we roar out of G.B. Headquarters. Cars clear the road when the Ecto whips down the streets, not because of the emergency lights, but because the Ecto is the wildest looking car anyone has ever seen. We\'ve arrived at the old Vechte-Cortelyou House, what a sight! There\'s hundreds of spirits battling it out, trying to earn their independence, but just as before, they are being mercifully slaughtered. Only difference between this time and the last is that the men who are shot down get back up and keep on fighting.
\"I\'ve said it once, I\'ll say it again,\" Ray states. \"It looks like we\'re gonna have to put in a little overtime on this one.\"
\"Jesus! Look at \'em all!\" exclaims Winston. \"They all died in just this battle?\"
\"Every last one of them,\" answers Ray.
\"No use in just watching them die again and again, let\'s get these guys!\" I exclaim.
\"Ries is right. We should act now, before the second artillery brigade gets here with the heavy-duty weapons,\" adds Egon.
\"By heavy-duty weapons I\'m assuming you mean cannons and other highly explosive artillery,\" Winston moans.
\"Yeah, probably! Let\'s not stick around to find out!\" I nervously yell. *\"Got your stick?\"
Everyone unhooks their proton pack and replies, \"Holding!\"
I take charge. \"Heat \'em up!\"
We all charge the neutrona and reply, \"Smoking!\"
\"Make \'em hard!\" I demand.
All of us are holding our nuclear accelerator guns, \"Ready!\"*
\"Let\'s show these guys into the twenty-first century,\" I remark. \"Strike!\"
Each of us is blasting the war spirits, trying to trap them, but without success. Egon shouts, \"Wait a minute, guys! I have a radical idea!\"
\"We\'re listening. What\'ve ya got for us?\" I ask.
\"It seems that we are incapable of capturing each soldier ourselves.\"
\"Obviously,\" I remark.
\"What are you saying we should do, Egon?\" Ray asks.
\"Well, crossing the streams was my first thought, but that would only cause a total proton particle reversal, capturing us in 1776.\"
\"Let\'s do that!\" I say sarcastically.
\"The only other logical reasoning I came up with is to cattle-rope them.\"
\"We\'re not cowboys, Egon. We\'re Ghostbusters!\" Winston exclaims.
\"Hear me out on this, guys. We\'ll take the mirrors off the Ecto and place them at three of the four corners of the battlegrounds. We\'ll stand at the remaining corner with four traps. Winston and I will shoot in opposite directions at the mirrors. Ray and Andy will hold the traps between us as we shoot. At the mirror opposite from where we stand the streams will twist around each other forming a rope that shoots back into the traps. When the streams reach the traps Winston and I will slowly strengthen the beams and the soldiers will be brought to the traps. Once the soldiers enter the traps their particles will be reversed, so in essence, the spirit is basically destroyed.\"
\"When you say destroyed...\" Winston begins to question.
Ray prematurely answers, \"He means they no longer exist. No spirit, no ghost.\"
\"Okay! Let\'s do this!\" I demand. \"Ray, you get the mirrors. Winston, you get the traps. Egon, you stand here with me and look important! I\'m sorry. I just got caught up...\"
\"I know,\" Egon replies.
Ray and Winston finish setting up the mirrors as Egon and I get the traps in place. \"You guys ready?\" Ray asks.
\"As soon as you and Ries are in position,\" Egon replies.
Ray and I pick up the traps and move to the center of Egon and Winston. \"Okay, Spengs. Let \'em rip!\"
\"Start with a low burst, Winston. Now!\" Egon demands. \"Slowly strengthen the beam until the soldiers are contained in the traps.\"
Ray and I just stand there holding the traps as Egon and Winston slowly bring the spirits of the battlefield closer to us. As the first soldier is trapped, Egon yells, \"Full neutrona, Winston!\"
Instantly the battlefield and old Vechte-Cortelyou House are free from battling spirits. In a panic Winston shouts, \"Egon, watch your beam!\"
Winston discontinues shooting and ducks as Egon\'s stream shoots over his head, narrowly missing him. Egon immediately takes notice and discontinues his stream. Ray and I hurriedly close the traps.
\"There\'ll be no more wars on our watch!\" I exclaim.
Ray joins, \"All in a day\'s work... for a Ghostbuster!\"
(Ghostbusters song plays until fade.)
