| | One Night - Three Proton Throwers...
Ok, about 9:00 pm I took three of the thermoformed gun boxes I made a few weeks ago and started working. Each pull had to be internally reinforced, the back and switch boxes were attached (using rivets) and wire holes added for later electronics. Then seal the two boxes with custom-cut bottom plates.
Razor cut holes for the gun handles, graph display and top vents. Secure and "hot glue weld" the grips and palm rest. Add the gun ears and, lastly, the grips. Finish with another layer of paint and let dry overnight. As of 2:45 am, this is what the throwers look like: |
