| | So here's my "Ectocycle"
I fancied up my bike for Tour de Fat, a big cycling event put on by the New Belgium Brewing company here in Fort Collins. They also do this event in a few other major cities around the nation.
Everyone is encouraged to dress up, both bodies and cycles. For some reason there were a LOT of dudes dressed as ladies.
So what was done?
- frame painted white
- chain guard painted red
- reflective black/yellow caution tape
- 1/4" corrugated split tubing over all brake cables
- added my special box to the book rack on the back wheel
I don't have a name for that special box, but it's an old ammo canister painted black.
The main features would have to be the 48" CB antenna and mini cyclotron, complete with working lights. |
