Filandrius's Particle Thrower

Filandrius

36-Year-Old Male

Hey everybody! I know that a few of you were asking in my pack build thread about where the heck my thrower was. Well here it is. This build has gone way, way faster than my pack build, mostly because at this point I really knew exactly what I wanted, and it was mostly an assembly of incredibly well-made parts instead of a full-blown build. Well no matter, because here's my all-metal hero thrower, which I couldn't have finished without the expertise and craftmanship of a few individuals who are gems to this community. You know who you are!

Exactly. The Danger sticker is reversed on the Minnesota thrower. That's what I was going for.

Hi, I have a question, Why the white sticker with "Danger" in red is inversed (à l'envers) n the right side of the gun?

Because in the movie, it's not like that? no ?

Short answer: it's not heavy. It's around the same weight as a resin thrower with metal greeblies. The gun box is made from 1/16" thick aluminum, so by itself it's light as a feather. A friend of mine weighted his assembled full metal thrower and it came in a a little less than 4 lbs. So you see, not heavy at all!

That is extremely impressive. How heavy is it?

That looks AWESOME....I don't suppose you could provide a "Step by Step" tutorial? Or perhaps a video of assembly?

You really knocked this thing out of the park!

Do you have an estimate of what it cost you?
