FossilizedArt's WTF SOUND ISSUE

FossilizedArt

33-Year-Old Male
Long Island, NEW YORK
I've posted this here as a temporary gallery of my Crix Sound Kit + Spongeface Battery Eliminator/Pre-Amp Board + 8w Amp.

These are many up-close photos of the wiring. I will also describe the wiring of the modules to correspond with the photos, as follows:

Sound Module 3v + to PreAmp Vsnd GND (red)
Sound Module 3v - to PreAmp Vsnd + (black)

Sound Module Speaker + to PreAmp SPK - (green)
Sound Module Speaker - to PreAmp SPK + (black)

PreAmp VBat+ to switch (red) to Amp- (red), connected to Battery + (red)
PreAmp VBat- to switch (green) to Amp+ (green), connected to Battery - (black)

PreAmp Vol-Pot+ to Amp input- (red)
PreAmp Vol-Pot GND to Amp input + (green)

Speakers are in parallel.

The problem occurs when I switch it on; there's a steady pulsing ticking sound, and no response from the sound kit.

The sound kit itself is working fine; I disconnected it and connected it to a 3V power supply and speakers on its' own, and there was non-amplified sound.

I have NO idea what to do now. I'm going to delete this as soon as the issue's resolved!
