Got Maul's Proton Pack

This first pack is a real trip through memory lane. I remember two weeks before Halloween, I wanted to change costume ideas since everyone and their mother was going to be a Jedi (Halloween after Episode I release). Scouring the net I found Paranorman's 1995 plans... which made the project seem amazingly simple (thanks norm . That is when it all started and almost ended... beginning this project, I realized, I did not know how to even hold a saw. Secondly, I was sawing into 1/4 plywood for my boxes, using a hot glue gun to hold everything down. Can you imagine that ?? Anyhow, two weeks later, respiratory problems and latex painting all over the place, I had completed my very first set of proton packs ( mine and my girlfriends). For the lighting system, I popped in a blue glow stick (for the blue bar light) and a blinking skeleton head (behind red theater gels) for the cyclotron. Hah, I won't even get into how nasty my proton gun turned out... let's just say foam and toilet roll tip was involved !!! Anyhow, all together I was happy with this pack being the first time ever. When I rolled out on Halloween, people were just as amazed with my pack as they were with my latest one. I was a proud man that night, but I knew I would return to make a better one.
