GBStantz's Proton Pack
|
| | My first pack build! I've wanted to build a pack for many years now, but never thought I had the patience or the skills to do so. I finally convinced myself to start, and after several months I've finally finished my pack. It was never intended to be be 150% accurate, but I did try very hard to keep it Ghostbusters accurate. Something they would have built.
The pack itself is a of a mix between GB & GB2 details. A GB1 gray crank knob, and a GBII ribbon cable. Why? Availability and preference. The shock mount is obviously not accurate, and will be replaced once I convince myself to part with $45 for a nice machined one. Also used some left over chrome socket head cap screws to mount the bumper, which I liked at the time, but will probably change in the future. Still playing with a few details, started testing some weathering techniques on the bumper, and still working on some touch up paint.
A big thanks to all the boardies that answered my annoying questions, and for everyone that put up awesome wip guides. EXTREMELY helpful. The amazing shell and light kit are from Exory, and pretty much everything else is from MMM (Irricanian). Both awesome guys.
I'm sure I'll be obsessing over details over time, but for now, I'm done! |
