| | Here's my uniform, minus my newly added leg hose. Well, my old uniform anyway. Anywho, I got it from USCavalry a few years ago and have been updating since. I have Markwort volleyball knee pads for my elbows, dyed and sprayed with primer to make the elbows the right color. The belt I got from Ernie Slaughter, who bought it that way, so yes. Actual gray belts do exist, they're just super rare. Custom built belt box, arm patch from Intergalactic Trading. The name tag I embroidered on a sewing machine using some scrap black jean material I had laying around. The walkie talkie is a Motorola MT-500 with swiveling/detaching holster (my personal preference over the stationary ones). My boots are really old sears boots. Gloves I bought at a local hardware store in the gardening department and trimmed. Over all, this suit took me about three years to complete because I took my sweet time. My second one, I hope will live up to this one, even though the fabric is different. My old one is VERY soft and cotton like, while my new one feels like nylon. So maybe I can beat it up and work on the color a bit to match my first one... I hope. |
