30-Year-Old Male

I updated my belt. I bought a new belt (khaki from the GBFans shop) and attempted a RIT purple/black dye to get the grey effect....it turned out too purple, so needed to order another one. The one you see is the result of a SUPER diluted black dye bath and short immersion time--I am really happy with the color result!

My belt gizmo is still the crappy one I did a few years ago, but it suits my needs--it looks the part and if something breaks, I really won't be upset. The trap holster is from MMM, the trap is a basic fan-made wood trap off eBay with a handful of mods on my part; again, I wanted something that if it broke, I wouldn't be overly upset (ie, no using my only Matty trap).

The PKE holster I am most proud of. I bought a hammer holster from Home Depot and did the old black shoe dye trick. Then I bought black Plasti Dip to "rubberize" the metal holder, as not to scratch up the PKE meter. Finally, I took a cue from GB:TVG's Lifegard II holster and used a small bungie to keep the PKE in place; now it is super secure and you can see the entire prop.

The MT500 is not the exact model from the movie, but it obviously does the trick (I do have a 3-knob/1-switch MT500, but it's one of the taller models).

Finally, the Lifegard II is the model without the "side slots", but again, who but a super diehard fan will notice? I opted for the GB:TVG look to break up the block of yellow; I took the suggestion from one of the threads here for the Motorola case and decided to cut the front-bottom off to show the circuitry. The green circuit board is from a broken digital camera I had and was the PERFECT size for this project.

Overall, I am very happy with how things turned out! As always, big thanks to all tips and tricks found in the threads and AJ/the GB shop!
