Contemplating making a blower here in the UK, so the parts list is good, However, what is the length of the gun excluding the cone ? as it's one dimension not listed. Cheers So, I have been working on a blower myself, while planning a revamp of my old (and very inaccurate) plans, and if you don’t m...

The joints aren't even close to molded in the correct colors, which is baffling to me, as the pegs that hold said joints together are a fairly close match. For example, the shoulder joints for Vinz are molded in flesh plastic, as opposed to blue, while the pegs are molded in a similar blue to the pa...

Vigo appears to be about 7 inches, or the same scale as the GBs. However, I'll be generous and go with 8". According to info I was able to find, the firehouse is 25' across. At a 6" scale, that equates to 25". If you tip Vigo on his side, he would likely span the base at most 3 times,...

The paint apps on my Matty figures were always clean, the accessories always top notch and undamaged, the ghosts were pack ins rather than a separate figure at the same price, the body sculpts were pretty good, I honestly prefer the head sculpts (while not realistic I think they capture the characte...

"...there's really not much room for complaints with these releases". My bad. I still don't agree with that. These are terrible figures with horrible QC. I bought every single Mattel figure and of those only 1 had any issues (a mismolded head), which were quickly resolved. I've bought 6 of...

Should be about 3 feet wide and minimum 2 feet tall to even be in scale with the Matty figures. At 2 feet wide (and probably a bit over 1 foot tall using Vigo as a reference), it MAY be in scale with the old Kenner figures. Of course one need only look at their Stargate figures to see they've had a ...

Diorama's are too small, the paint apps are sloppy, the joints have been fused by paint on early releases, accessories that are broke out of the package, and massive paint rub and chipping the first time you move the joints. Yeah, no room for complaint or improvements. /eyeroll Say what you will abo...

Save your money, Kingpin. The figures are mediocre at best with horrible paint chipping and a ton of quality control issues, and the diorama's not even in scale with them. Unless you have the Mattel figures (which the dioramas are almost in scale with), there's no point spending the money. I also do...

Yeah, there's no way it'll be the whole front of the firehouse. To be in scale with the Mattel figures (like the rooftop diorama was), it'd have to be about 6 feet tall, if I remember right, and about 3 feet wide (and if it were to be the whole building for reference, it would have to be 9 feet deep...

Seen it 8 times as of this posting. 3 times in IMAX 3D, and the rest regular 2D. Tempted to go ahead and just make it an even 10. lol May try and catch another 3D showing, though, even thought it won't be IMAX.

Judging by the gif, as well as what I can see in the film, the Mark III packs appear to just be running a chaser type circuit. The light starts in the upper left hand section of the pack, chases clockwise around the pack, and once fully lit, it starts cycling off in the same pattern. Then once fully...

Keep in mind that the Star Wars collector market, as with the Marvel collector market, is significantly higher than the GB one. Especially when you're talking unfamiliar characters. I imagine sales will pick up once the movie comes out, but I don't suspect that it will see much of an uptick with par...

Did a bit of customizing work the last few days between shifts at work. I just can't forgive the laundry list of issues that the DST figures have. Personally, I can't wait to see what the Mezco figures bring to the table. On one hand, they should be AMAZING. On the other, they might kill DST's line, which means no more diorama pieces.

I'm firmly in the Mattel camp. Originally I was pleased, for the most part, with the DST figures, but as I've had them for a while, they've really just lost their luster. The only reason I'm picking up the DST figures is for the diorama, which isn't even in scale with the DST figures (although it's ...

Personally, if you think about it, the museum would be kind of bland. Vast expanses of nothing but floor with side clutter and a wall or two. The Statue of Liberty also wouldn't give much In terms of display options. The Courtroom is a busy enough setting with an action set piece to boot, which lend...

My hands are about 50/50. One popped out on Ray just taking it out of the package. Winston's weren't that loose, but one popped out without much fuss. I assume by bezels, you mean the lights on the top of the thrower and on the sloblo box. If so, the originals were made by Arcolectric (along with the original hat lights). The GBFans shop offers cliplite light covers that are a decent replacement. Not exact by any stretch, but they'll serve the pur...

It's not an "unpainted square", it's paint scraping. If the parts had actually been molded in that color, like, say, I don't know, the Mattel figures, then you wouldn't HAVE paint scraping. Sure, the colors are probably better, having been painted, but if they were molded in those colors, ...

Which we all know they will give us a normal Louis, at full price, with, once again, no accessories. Louis should have been a cheaper figure, period. I can certainly expect accessories and better detail and paint apps. Mattel gave us a unique sculpt, closer to screen accurate paint apps, and a fair amount of accessories, for less money. The likeness is better than the Mattel figure (which wasn't terrible itself). But if you're going to charge a p...

After getting these in, I have to say that the Ghostbusters figures are actually quite nice, outside of a few paint issues on my part. I've heard there are some issues with joints on some of the figures, but mine are mostly fine. I'm a bit concerned about possible breakage on the hoses, and I do fin...
