Can you please make a list of the parts you bought to do this? I used the following: Talentcell YB1206000-USB Battery Two 4" (10cm) Pioneer TS-G1020F speakers XY-502 amplifier board -> Make a connection from the appropriate +/- from the 12V output on the Talentcell. JST-2 male connector -> Goe...

Top notch work. Looking forward to that run! 🤞🏽

Exciting stuff. Looking great.

I personally would like to see just an up voting system like other forums I'm part of. To hell with down voting. I just can't see what good of having Karma and down voting can bring to a community. Case in point, this thread alone.

I am sure that every pack had a different resistor value but since we know of this one for sure it was worth a shot (a long shot) to see if we could actually find one with matching numbers. The parts for the proton packs were sourced surplus so it's safe to say they grabbed whatever looked the part...

I'll admit I'm really not keen on Ross' involvement in this, based on a number of remarks he's made about the members of GBFans in posts at the RPF. TJ's updated plans are based on Vince's recently released pictures of the Sony Hero pack, I'm curious to see how different Ross's dimensions will be. ...

So now that we know what they are, what is the diiference with the coding on them? I have seen three different numbers listed on the side. They all start with RE70G... then 6040, 2370, and 59R00. What is the accurate number? Is that not really known yet? Is that even an issue at this point? Accurac...

Whether it's a Dale or Dalohm (pretty much same company), there is no logo on it.

I have no idea, this is the first I've EVER heard of this. It was mentioned that one of the sony lobby packs had a Pacific and I found that shot. I'd be more interested to see conclusive proof that the dale version was ever used on a pack. http://img138.imageshack.us/img138/4908/rayrm.jpg http://im...

I would also like to add to this good discussion that the HERO was not the only Proton Pack with a Pacfic resistor.

Evidence for from the OMNI and Minnesota pack show a Pacific was used. I don't have a way of posting because I'm on my mobile device at the time.

I never noticed that before; I'm guessing that they left it off to facilitate adjustments or repairs to the wiring. I doubt they were left off for constant repairs. Once those packs were done for the start of filming, nothing else was worked on. The original built had them given the screw holes, an...
