I'm hoping we can see a real turnaround in business practice with this. I know how easily one can be bogged down with orders, especially when you are making more complicated pieces. I think the first and fastest remedy to this problem would be for the seller to make more frequent contact with his/he...

Since there were variations in the screen-used packs, I am going for a personalized look. I have seen some packs have either a red or orange light next to the vent. The large flat light cover is usually white and sometimes the smaller light is white or red or orange. I've seen a few replica packs wi...

Hmmmm...
Thanks for all the info guys.
Though the bellows piece first mentioned may be a little less hassle to customize compared to the thermostat.
I have plenty of time to dwell on this and take a closer look at my options - keep up the good work fellas.

Wowzer, thank you for the links. They help alot.
Now that I'm completely fried with info over-load, it's time to take a break and wait until my Nickatron wand kit arrives.

I know, I was just kiddin'. "Dammit, Tommy Jarvis!" :P I love seeing these pics. A shock mount is a big part of the pack. Can make or break it, imo. I love seeing these found pieces. I remember getting my shock mount from jpa35 and gazing adoringly at it. Before that I had only had washer...

Could you simply grind off the top of the bellow with a dremmel and cap it with a washer then paint? That's pretty much what I did only with a blowtorch and knock-out seal. http://www.gbfans.com/images/pb/jackdoud/Ghostbusters_thermostat_th_IMG_0178.jpg What exactly did you do with the blowtorch? I'm also trying to put the pieces together on how this will all work. I am starting my build with the thrower so determining where the wires are going to live is a big part of that. To my eyes, it looks like the wires from the light and switch (gun tip) run into the main barrel of the gun, then come...

I've been tring to find a thread that shows the best - or most accurate way - to run the wires from the trigger box into the slo-blo box.
It is my understanding that you are to drill a small hole in the side of the trigger box and a corresponding hole in the slo-blo for the wires to pass through.

The issue with the 3rd film, is since June of 1989, the fans have built the 3rd movie up in their heads to the point where almost nothing will compete with what they have been dreaming and talking about for 22+ years. Doctor Who is a really smart show and a true staple in the Sci-Fi community. It' can't be that bad - it's the longest running Sci-Fi television series in history. But if this is really a 'community' as you call it, people should be free to discuss their passions and interests in the appropriate sect...

The fans are rarely happy with anything that is put out. Does that make them "fans" if they hate it? That's an interesting question, because a true fan will love it all and appreciate it for what it is. Though there is a type of fan that is so strict, that very few things will please him ...

I too have been looking into light/sound options.
The Jupiter kit looks nice and well priced BUT it is also missing some lights for whatever reason and the vent light is glowing instead of static.
I sent a message about having one custom tailored to more accurate specs and waiting on a reply.
