Re: Primary/Secondary Batteries?

Isolators capable of handling a large amp output are pretty pricey though, at least at batteries plus bulbs they are.

Like I said, I used a cutoff switch because I like the manual operation ^-^

My new Ecto build has two batteries (like the last one did) and the best cure I found for the double dead drawback is to have some form of disconnect between the two. I preferred a manual one so if I killed the secondary, the primary could still run the car (and also not overwork the alternator). Pl...

Dude I totally dig it! I may have to 'borrow' some of your ideas for my current build ;) I once tried to figure out how to hinge the sniffer and radome but man you nailed it.

The WHOLE THING could be saved and salvaged with just ONE little tweak. EVERY bit of it could be forgiven and make the movie likeable/acceptable in the fans' eyes, the new cast, equipment, car, uniforms, everything; change it to a different location and make it a franchise. Boom. Collect your money...

I sadly don't have a build thread. This is the first time I've been on GBFans in years. Had some bad experiences with trolls and the like. I can't say I blame feig for lashing out at the trolls, but honestly it seems like he's lashing out at our beloved movie... He's not going to ruin our childhood ...

Very cool. I recently got a Ford Freestyle I'm converting. Built a sliding rack out of angle iron and roller skate wheels. Only had enough space to hold three packs, but the effect when it slides out carrying them is too cool for words.

Where to begin without sounding rabid...? I looked carefully at the shots of this car and just felt disheartened... Not that I had any heart in the reboot to begin with, mind you. To me it looks like a station wagon driven through a rummage sale, then a paint factory... I just can't like it no matte...

I had a PDF a while back, (no idea if I have it anymore after multiple computer crashes/moves) but it was a Tobin's Spirit Guide that I think went along with RGB. It was kinda a cute read, more for kids of course, and talks about some different spooky tales of ghosts. I had it printed out at my loca...

I'm looking forward to these myself. My ex gf often dresses up as a ghostbuster with me, and while we were able to make a uniform fit her size (She is a very VERY petite girl) the only pack that her 95lbs of person could support is the kenner kids pack that I had when I was a kid. Surprisingly it is...

Hey no problem :) I just hope they're all accurate! lol, that's why I put the link to the website, too. Yep :) That's what I thought of, too. Right now they're sitting (literally) on my xbox lol. But yeah, I know the feel of being picked on, on this board. S'why I left several years ago. Only came back because of the Matty figures appearing in Big Lots. Seems the karma system is totally useless lol.

I agree with you Francine. Hell I once had one guy and the admin gang up on me, that's why I don't visit here often. Yeah, fair enough. There is an eerie silence from Donkey now lol. I'd say be hopeful it's true, but not too hopeful as for your dreams to be dashed. I'm still hoping for the Winston/Peter 12" set, myself. I never collected any of the figures and at this price, as detailed as they are... Passing...

Yeah Exoray is a straight up guy. I bought a light kit from him for one of my packs quite some time ago, and they ran great, were easy to install, and easy to adapt. I had my lights on a few years ago for Halloween, and had been told countless times that amber was okay, and had geeky cops. Also forgot to mention, the pke meter can hang from my belt because of the ring that's on the handle. I used a black and decker flashlight, and it is setup so the 3 position ring for beam adjustment is still turmable, right under the box with a 1,2,3 setting. Helps add to the effect. I had to get endcaps for my roof rack. I filled the inside of the bars with great stuff expanding foam, then plugged the ends with those plastic caps that you put in sockets to keep children out of them. Just what I used, they work well.
