I usually drill a hole down the length of the ear, then put putty over the end to seal it up.

Oh yes, check the thrower referenced in this album - http://www.gbfans.com/equipment/reference/33/40/

They have covered the opening with heat shrink tubing, but you can still see the prongs and wires sticking out.

I bent the prongs to fit the switch completely inside, however it sticks out the bottom in the movie.

If the tube is loose then maybe put a piece of tape on it to take up the slack.

The white block above the read out should stay "SCAN" on it, as discovered in the visual history book. It's hard to tell if its a decal or etched into the plastic, but I've updated the kit to include the lettering etched in.

Force Awakens captured the spirit of a Marvel film. Which is cool, they're fun and all. They're just not Star Wars. I would have to disagree, and while you are welcomed to that opinion I would say that you would probably have to accept it as a minority opinion. If anything, the majority of the the ...

I'm all for a continuation, and yes I think that fans would have been more accepting of that, but Fury Road might be the wrong comparison. The Force Awakens already did was Ghostbusters 2016 failed to do; They captured the spirit of the original films, brought back the characters that current fans a...

But if you want to use it anyway, it looks like you could trim another 1/4" off the aluminum tube (it really only needs to be as high as the black gear that goes around it). If that doesn't close the gap, you could possibly replace the type of headphone jack he is using with something with a lo...

So, as far as I've been able to tell, the front panel never lights up in the movie, which is probably why Kris didn't include it.

I think he was. They wanted to push him out before Ramis died, and I really think they used his death to their advantage. There is also Reitman begging them not to call it a reboot the moment up to the announcement.

I quite like Feig, both his work and as a person. Not that I've met him personally, just in interviews and on shows he's appeared in. He seems like a good guy. I just think the trailers for the reboot depict the movie as a misstep, and I, perhaps unfairly as it was probably mostly Sony's fault, am n...

I think there is an expectation in geek culture that someone like James will see the movie. Of course he is going to see Star Trek, TMNT, Star Wars TFA, and Ghostbusters. He doesn't have to go out of his way to say he won't be seeing The Angry Birds Movie, or Bad Moms, because no one expects him to,...

Personally, from the distance I would be sitting I can't tell the difference between 1080 and 4k, at least not with the duel displays at Best Buy, but it will probably make a huge difference depending on your screen size and if you sit closer to your TV than I do. Plus maybe we can get some even bet...

I did this quick mock up before I saw Lowberg's post, so it's a similar suggestion. I think the text and titles need to be broken up somehow, and a line alone might not be enough to do it. I don't think any of your issues were necessarily things I enjoyed, but rather was willing to look past.
