The roof racks look the same to me except for a few gizmos and lights that could easily be switched to the second car. Most films that have hero cars have multiples either in case one breaks down or gets in a wreck. Just think about the budget they'd loose if they needed to hold production until the...

It also could have been from a rehearsal the actors did before the actual take. That may be Sigourney's robe, not Dana's, and would explain why her hair is dry.

Can't be sure, but I think that one is also used by ray in "Big Trouble with Little Slimer" at around mark 5:10. Egon asks ray to activate the "Spector Detector" but all you see is ray waving the wand.

Perhaps going to the scripts could provide you a clear answer. Personally, I'd say it's multi-function like the power button on your phone: tap once to bring up or dim the screen, hold to shut off.

Then two years later they did away with the pedal entirely. ;-)

Spengs: Have you ever tried to sit in a car while wearing a proton pack? If you don't want to buy new figures, you can always just pry off the pack on a current figure. If the hype from the fanbase has shown Matty anything, it's that there's a very high demand for the pack.

Even though Scott said there weren't any immediate plans for making it, I'm pretty sure that we'll see it in a year or two.
