A little sneak preview of one of the bedrock parts of this whole project: the newest attempt to produce plans of Fire Station №23, based on the LiDAR scan Luke posted on his Instagram (which is probably my 4th, or 5th attempt to map this beast of a building out.) It's still an early work-in-progress...

I've seen it three times at the cinema, myself. If it's still showing, go and see it before the run ends.

I wonder if the any of the upcoming new gear shells could be the extreme and 2016 proton pistols? Doubtful, as that would require a whole new character animation to implement (either single-handed for Kylie, or two-handed for Holtzmann), and we've seen that while Illfonic is happy to go to the effo...

Sometimes they film stuff that's only ever intended for the trailers, and I'm willing to bet the rooftop sequence was just that.

I recall reading something, and I think it was possible sourced from Luke's instagram/Firehouse set designer diary, that the darkroom and adjoining laboratory (with phone booth) are located through the door at the top of the stairs, at the back of the third floor).

It may not be perfect, but I think it hits a lot of the notes what many would hope to see in a Ghostbusters movie. I feel that in the end we need to accept that no movie is ever going to quite recapture the magic of what made the original so special, but it doesn't mean we can't still have enjoyable...

I really hope Ghost Corp mothballed that set for the future. If there is another movie after Frozen Empire , and should the Firehouse feature in it, I can guarantee it'd be a whole new set build... The next film, if it happens, may not get filmed in the U.K., and may not need as much of an interior...

I'd consider the new Ducktales largely an improvement on the original, and it was pretty entertaining.
