If only Truspec would add those lap pockets and knife pocket, they could have a monopoly on flightsuits for Ghostbusters costumes; other than those missing pockets, they're pretty much spot-on. While it may seem like a lot of work, I have yet to see any one add leg pockets to a Truspec. I'm sure it'...

I'm also building about 7 belt gizmos, so that link should really come in handy. 10 for $0.60 is not a bad deal at all (seeing as each circuit board needs 8 capacitors). Thanks, Jack Doud; by the way, your belt gizmo is the best replica out there.

Turn your flight suit inside out and put it in a sealed laundry bag (have the zippers pulled up); wash it in cold water with a gentle cycle (to protect the patches). Just let it drip-dry instead of putting it in the dryer. Of course, you can always hang it outside for 20 minutes like Venkman does (a...

Don't bother trying to track down the original Sanyo ICC 808-D calculator. Not only are vintage nixie-tube calculators both rare and expensive (such as on eBay), the electronics in them changed on an almost weekly basis back in the early 1970s. It's really just more cost effective to build one yours...

How about everyone just drops this silly meme, and we can all go back to the way things were (or should be). I for one am not angry with anyone; I just don't want to see anyone made fun of on this site. After all, aren't we all friends?

This may be a bit of a tangent, but are we 100% certain that the 2.0" inner straps on the black 3.0" GB2 belts were made of seatbelt strapping? From the high-res screenshots that I've seen, as well as some recent photos of Ernie's GB2 belt (when he wears it to cons), it appears to made of ...

I'm guessing that they keep the leg hoses stored in the Ecto-1 with the rest of their equipment. It's apparent in both films that the actors have no idea what the hoses are for and probably consider them to be a nuisance.

That's a good question! I believe that the bottom ring (which looks like it's about 30-32 mm in diameter) is a split key ring and not a solid ring (thus allowing the wearer to attach their keys). For the ones that I'm building, I found an online seller that has the correct 3/4" squared D-rings ...

There's really not much else that can be said about that mysterious hose. However, in those two shots of Winston's hose, you can clearly see that the end connects to something white. It looks like it's wrapped in white gaff tape, possibly to keep the hose from slipping out. http://www.gbfans.com/equ...

The GB2 board is MUCH easier to build than the GB1 board. Other tricky details such as the sloping nixie shelf and the ICC pillows with brass wire are also ...
