I kind of doubt this is Ray's farm. What are the odds that Ray would be from the same remote area as this Shandor town, would end up in New York to fight the output of their efforts, then wind up back in the same area for a final battle?

I'm not sure. But he's in two seperate scenes. How cool would it be if they used that guy or something like it that had us re examine the way we looked at the original film?

This is a hall-of-fame stretch.

My theory is

he's looking for old footage of Harold to use for constructed flashbacks...maybe some digital de-aging for the original cast.

My main reason for this is, I already think it's hard to buy that Dana would be sensibly involved in something that takes place far from New York. Thinking of a reason the office secretary would also be there is even harder. So it makes the most sense to me to imagine Jason showing something in the missing years between 1989 (or 1991) and 2019/2020.

While there are definitely other possibilities, the rusted-out Ecto seems to imply that the Ghostbusters aren't in business, so it feels like there has to be more work involving Janine. But we'll see!

I've said it before, but all we need is some NYC folks watching the firehouse! The second any film unit or set dressing appears, we'll know one way or another!
