Here's an update on what we do know:

A man driving a car across Westminster Bridge toward Parliament Square mounted the pavement, hitting several people as he went (reports suggested at least 20 people injured in this section of the attack). The car in question then crashed into the railing/wall surrounding the grounds of Parliament. With his vehicle disabled, he proceeded on foot around to the MPs' vehicle entrance on Parliament Square and entered a yard on the corner of the grounds of Parliament. He encountered a Policemen who he proceeded to stab, and was then met by a second officer who was armed, who shot the assailant.

Two of the people injured on the bridge have since died, as well as the injured Police officer and the attacker is also believed to have died from his wounds - at the currently time he is believed to have been the only person involved with the actual attack, although 8 people have been arrested in connection with the incident yesterday.

The terrorist behind the recent attack on London wasn't a refugee.

He was a British-born citizen with mental health issues who had become radicalised.
