My first Ecto Goggles. It took so long trying to clean up this re-casted AN/PVS-5a frame that I forgot to take wip pics . When I finish it off with some straps ill get some more detailed images so you can see all the errors in it lol.
Frame is painted army surplus store rattle can olive drab with flat black undercoating.
Lenses are nick-a-tron's painted gloss black and gun metal with cd case plastic glass pieces.

How did you cut the CD plastic to make the glass lenses? TELL ME I MUST KNOW lol

I used a bimetal hole saw with the drill guide in the center removed. I tried a hobby knife and other ways of scoring it but it was taking too long and I kept cracking the plastic. I chose a hole diameter a little larger than nicks lenses and then sanded down the rough edges the saw left for a tight fit.
