I've tried looking everywhere but I'm having a hard time figuring out how in the hell do you tighten them up. I made the mistake of trying to loosen them up and now I can't tighten them up again. Lol anyone's help would be greatly appreciated.

You can't, those "adjustable clips" are cosmetic only, they don't actually tighten up or loosen up...

Quickly removed the restricting cloth when I got mine but figured it was a fits-all that just didn't fit me..
