So I finally decided to dust of my Ecto Goggles frames that have been patiently waiting on my shelf and to attempt to use some of my skills to machine my lenses. I used the plans and dimensions that Vincenzo330 was kind enough to let me use for this build. I originally printed them with my 3D Makerbot printer but felt it was time for a major upgrade. After reading all of the great builds the community has done I thought I should give it a try using my machining skills. As you can see from the first set of pictures my first attempt was ok but the lenses were too heavy and not 100 percent to the drawings. My second run at it yielded better results and were within tolerances of the drawing, plus they were significantly lighter as well as the 4 separate pieces to make it easier for paint or anodizing.
