Spirit Goggles Broken Power Switch

Hey, guys.
I picked a set of goggles on clearance Nov 1st. Pretty cool. I can't get the light to turn on though. The power switch just spins freely .
Does anybody know what it'll take to fix it? I thought of just putting my own switch on there, but it doesn't pop off easily, and I'm not sure about just drilling it out yet.
