Haha that's great!! Goes to show that materials matter very little, its the proportions that make the difference.

For cardboard that's really good detail. Can't wait to see it finished.

Nice work! Do keep it up! Also, if you will, please take some pics of the undersides of these, so we can see how they're reinforced!

VERY Nice build bro! Ya know if youd be willing to shell out about 30 bucks for automotive resin you could paint the pack with it....That would make it survive ALOT longer than just paint.... Again great work :)

I was thinking about automotive resin but to save on cost I have been adding 2 layers of shellac before top coating with plastidip spray paint

i wouldnt get too crazy finishing this pack with out sealing it with resin. in the end you'll thank yourself for doing that the minute it starts to sprinkle.

After applying the resin I gave it a couple coats of satin black...but still seems a bit too glossy to me. So I gonna probably hit it with a coat of flat and see what happens:

I created a shock mount and attached it to the bumper:

Added the filler and beam line tubes with brass fittings and I also added on the small box at the bottom of the spacer and the injector tube receiving box:

I have to admit I was a little skeptical of cardboard at first but I am truly impressed.

Great work.

You may have already mentioned but with the lighting, is overheating a concern?

I don't think a single led would put off enough heat to be a concern. But I am thinking about running a 1" pvc pipe through the inside of the cyclotron added where the lights would be to keep a barrier between the lights and the foam.
