After not having much luck with the S-hooks or using a belt fob to hang my wand from(no matter what I try, the wand turns sideways and doesn't hang right) I have decided to try something a little different. I want to make a drop-leg wand mount. Basically take a drop leg plate/straps, probably custom made plate, and attach a pack-side V-hook plate to it. That way I can just clip my wand into it, it would be quick release, more stable, and it could even double as a trap holster.

I know it is not exactly "canon", but it would work so well and not look too bad, in my opinion. I need to get another V-hook plate before I can start building it.

Thoughts?
