I am trying to 3d model and print a proton pack prop for halloween this year and I can get everything on the pack modeled except for the grips.

I can get the basic shape and everything down but when it comes to the finger holes, they look like they are fileted or curved and I cant seem to recreate what I see in reference pics or in the gbfans shop grips.

I am using the plans off gbfans to measure and do all this. Im just not a wiz at 3d modeling.

Can anybody explain or point me in the right direction on how to create those curved finger holes?

I think thingiverse has a couple of neutrino wands you can use the grips from those.

i did find a grip on thingiverse that looked great but i was hoping to understand how to make my own.

I haven't used either program, I mainly use Maya. Not sure if showing you how to in Maya would help with SketchUp.
