I bought a complete heavy props light and sound kit for my proton pack and Neutrona wand from eBay.
I know that it is recommended to use the separate 3V battery holder for the sound board, but would it be possible to use a buck converter to convert from the 12V battery source to drop the voltage down to 3V to run to the sound board? If so any recommendations on how to wire up the wiring inside my pack to do this? I had previously been working on modifying a spirit halloween proton pack, but ran across a great deal for a mostly finished resin pack that has a custom made static light kit in it, so I bought it to use instead but knew I wanted to put a better light kit and a sound kit in the pack to replace the static lights in it.
