Well, since my full-sized packs are powered with Makita 12V Max batteries, via the Booster tube, I thought i would try the same on the Spirit. The battery was too big, but after taking off the cap, i found it would fit in the Spirit Booster. I usually used a Makita flashlight housing, secured in the tube, to hold the battery. the flashlight was too big for the spirit shell, so i cut it up and just used the connector. I attached a long power wire to it. I secured the battery in the spirit tube, and made a nice plug for the connector using part of an old resin clippard... once the booster is put back on, you tighten the top booster frame screw to secure it. The 12V makitas last a long time, then i just pop them into my charger, when they are dead... Merry Xmas Everyone!!! tIM
