A running thread in nearly every pack build is the aim for accuracy and the inevitable sacrifice to get the pack built. I think the top or one of the top compromises has to be the extending tip.

My best is that because I am not great at telling the difference between a GB1 pack and a GB2 pack so I allowed the builder to go with whatever option was cheaper. For example of a GB1 crank knob replica was cheaper I went with that. If GB2 banjos were cheaper I went with them. It saved me money and I think the pack looks great.

My worst compromise is not going with a metal gun body. My resin wand is phenomenal. It's well crafted and very sturdy but the feel is off. if I had to do it over again I'd go for at least metal handles for the nice tactile feel and a metal heatsink for the sake of durability.

For those of you who built packs, had a pack built (that's what did) or bought one pre built what would you say is the best and the worst compromise you made?
