Well my pack went well, so I figured I'd give the trap a shot. This costs $0 dollars so far to make so it was more of a test run to see how it came out. So this be the prototype. First off yes, obviously has radioshack knobs and odd knobs laying around and paint and sanding isn't perfect but its all screwed together so I will dissemble it and make it prettier shortly. Its still a ways from completed but, it looks like a trap thus far. I erred on some of the measurements since I put it together wrong and its a half inch not wide enough. So yes, its FUGLY, but functional. I'm gonna put magnets to keep the cartridge in place so it will stay put. Two good sized rare earth magnets have plenty of holding power since I won't be putting in a spring / latch assembly.

Thank you good sir, but you definitely got me beat in the uniform department. Mines pretty craptastic. Oh, this is for anyone, does anyone know the "official" weight of a trap? Give or take..

Finally put the finishing touches on the trap. Looks decent I suppose. I attempted to add weathering affects. Didn't come out too horrible, but worse case I can always just unscrew all the metal plates and repaint everything black so wasn't that big of a deal. LED lights up to, just need to finish the front indicator and that be it folks. My crude trap holster and it works quite well actually, very easy to slide trap vhook down and out easily. I put a aluminum plate behind the whole thing and it stiffened it right up so sliding trap down doesn't bunch the leather up. It just hangs off my hip and doesn't move at all. Very secure..need to have a trap draw contest. Just the vector plate was my only purchase as that was a pain in the rear to try and make. My patience wore thin on that one as I don't have access to a 3D printer or CNC machine.
