So I finally watched the movie on Blu-ray, yeah I know, I'm usually late with technology.
Anyway, I noticed something and I'm not sure if I've heard anything related in the past.
The trap seems to be exclusive to that scene and not used anywhere else. And it's not any of the traps we have reference pictures of.
I've noticed two details:
1- the doors have a plate bolted to the underside, which I'm assuming connects to the mechanism that opens and closes. That isn't in any of the photos available, as far as I can tell.
2- the top of the closed doors are level with the edge of the highest section of the tray walls. All other reference images show a taller cartridge with doors that are almost 1/2" higher than the tray.

All other traps seen throughout the movie match what we have, but I have not seen that "functional" trap anywhere else. Anyone have any ideas on this? Hopefully I didn't miss a discussion on this already...
I'm almost finished with mine and now I have changes to make after watching the better version.
