The other day I was watching an episode of the 60s Batman series called "The Penguin Declines". In part of it The Joker goes to Gotham city's drinking water reservoir, and turns all of the water into strawberry jelly. It looked remarkably similar to the River of Slime! They even had strawberry jelly oozing out of the taps, just like the slime!

There weren't any dancing toasters, though.

I just saw that episode the other day as well, on MeTV, right? Needless to say, the same GB2 connection occurred to me. It's a good thing Chief O'Hara didn't get violent after taking a shower in the stuff...

Yep, it was MeTV. Good station. Recently been watching Batman, Wonder Woman, and M*A*S*H whenever they're on.
