In 2014 our lady Erin Gilbert not only stared in but helped produce a movie entitled
"Welcome To Me"
Maybe I am late to the party... as usual.. but her character mentions someone named Jordana Spengler! SPENGLER!
I have my own strugles with mental wellbeing... and I loved this movie plus the name drop. Wiig must have known she was in line to be a Ghostbuster.

It isn't really a name drop when it's not a reference to Egon Spengler (it's origin is German, meaning "metal worker" or "tin knocker").
Likewise the name being used in Welcome To Me wasn't a tip to Wiig about her eventually appearing in Ghostbusters, as that film doesn't appear to have any connection to Sony/Columbia. It's just a coincidence.

Yeah Spengler isn't really an uncommon name. One of the producers of Superman the Movie buck in 1978 was Pierre Spengler
