I am into a lot of fandoms and I do find it a bit sad that the Ghostbusters and the Star Trek Fandom are not as huge as Star Wars is.

I am big into the Star Wars community and the reaction we get at the conventions is huge. I am with the 501st and R2 Builders. We have members joining like crazy wanting to put on plastic space man suits.

Star Trek has loads of fans but nothing organized at all except for the Klingons thanks to one dedicated individual.

Doctor Who still seems to be popular but not as big a draw a before.

The local Ghostbuster club tries there best and are great people but the recognition is not at the same level as Star Wars. That was why I liked the fact that we got a new movie to hopefully bring in new fans. So it was unfortunate that it created so much controversy.
