Spotted these at a local store and was hoping to get some opinions on these.

They'd certainly work as a "modern alternative" to what was worn in the films, though if you're aiming for something that looks like what was worn in 1984 and 1989, a smoother finish like standard military boots is what you'd be wanting to go for.

I found mine at Walmart for around $45, I believe.

I think they’re very comfortable, personally. I’ve walked around in them on concrete for hours at a time, and they still felt great at the end of the day.
