I had two Rothco's and turned one into a GB II style for this recent Hallowe'en. Used a dying recipe found here and now I need some opinions. I used two boxes of color remover, an entire bottle of Navy Blue in addition to some Black and Denim Blue. It took a while to get satisfied but as I look around after I see others whose uniforms look nicer. I feel mine may not be as blue as it should be or maybe it needs to be darker. I know there is much debate as to what is 100% accurate given factors like lighting and so forth. All my pics are on my user page but here is some close up images.

It looks good, but it could be a little darker. How to do that? I'm not sure. I know when I dyed a navy tru-spec, I used color remover and bleach and got it down to a acid washed jeans look. Then I did a black, then royal blue/kelly green dye bath.

Here is a shot of a straight out of the box Navy Tru-spec next to my dyed one:

Not much of a difference but the dyed one looks correct under different lighting, which is what I was going for. Navy in some light, charcoal in others.

Anyway, good luck!
