I apologize if this has been answered before, but I did a quick search and didn't find it.
I'd like to know if anyone knows what brand the screen used lab coats from GB1 are or has any suggestions for buying a screen accurate one now?
They seem to be standard labcoats with 4 buttons and 3 pockets.
The color is a bit unclear.
Googling the lab coats produced some old ebay posts allegedly selling the one Ramis used on screen, but it looks WAY too blue and light and doesn't look like it's the right length. So I'm reluctant to use it as a gauge. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Harold-Ramis-Sc ... 7675.l2557
In the "We're ready to believe you" commercial, they look like a darkish grey or sort of blue grey, depending on the video you're watching, but given that everything looks a bit blue in the ones where it's blue grey, I'm going to say they are GREY.

(still image that is not blue)
In the scene where Rick Moranis has the collander prop on his head, the labcoat Ramis is wearing looks much more of a dark grey color, especially in contrast to Rick Moranis' blue button-up shirt (which incidentally looks much more like that is what was for sale in that eBay post). However, there could have also been more than one type of lab coat. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Skxhii6VFdo
Also, in GB2 in the scene where they are experimenting with the slime, Aykroyd is wearing a lab coat that I suppose *could* be the same ones, but it's a much lighter grey (and chances are it's not the same, since Ramis has a new white lab coat in that scene). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jgqEWSFNwxA
Any thoughts?
