To me, the weirdest thing about the Syndicated episodes is that each episode had a different closing logo combo. Some had the DiC Vortex/Columbia Pictures Television one; others had the DiC Kid-In-Bed/Coca-Cola Telecommunications one. Anyone know the reason for this?

I think it was because, strangely enough, the Syndicated episodes were originally shown in foreign countries, prior to their American TV debut in the Fall of 1987. I also think this was where the original version of "Slimer, Is That You?" came from. Not to mention several of them were originally released on video here in America, and they had the older logo combo.

It's highly doubtful that when these aired on American TV in the Fall of 1987, they had said older combo.
