Just joined. Long time Ghosthead, long time lurker here.
I was a GB fan since the age of seven. I discovered the RGB cartoon, and had no idea the movie existed. When a neighbor friend told me a movie existed, I didn't believe him till he popped it in his VCR. I was agog. Peter looked similar, Ray looked similar. Though, I thoroughly protested that those couldn't be Egon and Winston due to the lack of blond hair, and addition of a mustache, respectively. Still, I was hooked, and I couldn't wait to see GB 2 when it came out in '89.
I got a little older and got to appreciate the original for the comedy it is. Same for GB 2. Now, I own both movies on DVD & Blu Ray. I can watch them any time without getting tired of them. Fast forward to now... I have the original Time-Life Firehouse DVD set of RGB, plus countless collectibles. I follow the IDW comic series religiously and have collected all the trade paperback volumes.
I'm gonna leave things here and enjoy the forum. Eager to get to know you all!
