Really disappointed...

Don't know what went wrong... I bet they made a whole lotta money with the Ecto-1...
Maybe they deemed it too risky since it would be a pretty pricey set, I dunno.

Such a shame that this didn't make it. Its an amazing piece. Its only downfall was the amount of bricks used to create it which converts to a high sale price. Its the projected sale price that probably killed this amazing project. Real shame

Unfortunately LEGO will never go for a large scale set with Ideas. They only accept smaller models that are less of a risk if they don't sell.

Hi all,
I have decided to start this adventure as well, and perhaps make some adjustments on the way.
When I import the partslist, I see that some identical parts are listed several times, the only thing that's different is the Module ID, but all other things seem the same.
To prevent a massive overordening, can/should I first clean up the list?

Anybody else already brave enough to follow Sergio's footsteps??
